Israel has always been an alluring destination. From biblical times to present day, this slice of holy land in the Middle East has long attracted visitors. In her talk, Zuzana will give an account of her adventures in Israel while visiting some of the Holy Places of Judaism, Christianity, as well as the Bahá’í Faith. The joy and the pain of experiencing a country of so many contradictions, its colours, scents, and people.

Zuzana Kovářová is a teacher of English at the Faculty of Science at the University of South Bohemia.
