The library and multimedia study room of the British Centre are open to the public. Anyone can become a member, there are no age or professional restrictions.

The loan period for the books is one month with the possibility of renewing. The loan period can be extended up to two times (personally, by phone). In case of loss or serious damage to any borrowed items the library member will have to replace them with new ones. If the borrowed material is not returned within the given period, the member will be charged 1 Kč per item per day past the due date.

The membership is for everybody who will pay (students, pensioners 600,-Kč, the others 800,-Kč, VIP cards 1000,-Kč), bring a photo for a membership card and will identify him/herself by showing either an ID card or a valid passport.The membership fee is valid for 12 months. No other fees are required.
